WOW! Where do I begin. I have followed Sarah on social media for years and ordered a copy of her book as soon as it was released. I would have easily decided to travel as far as Chicago to meet her in person and have her sign my book. When I discovered that Drake University was hosting this event I could hardly believe it. I told all my friends about it. I am a transgender person myself and so this event had special meaning for me. I believe that Sarah is one of the most influential transgender people in the United States at this time and to be given the opportunity to meet and ask questions of her was amazing to say the least. Also I was able to meet and make some new friends at the event. Thank you! Thank you!
