10 Irrefutable Principles of Career Success

Drake University alumna, Bernie Frazier, BN’89, will be back on campus to share 10 Irrefutable Principles of Career Success. The talk will be held on Tuesday, April 2 at 5:30 p.m. in the Cowles Library Reading room. During this conversation, Bernie will engage with students and recent grads on what a good job offer looks like, the role your boss should and shouldn’t play in your success, the one question you need to ask and answer for career success, why many women and people of color often make less money, and how to overcome it, and much more.

The event is hosted by Drake University Alumni Relations and all are invited to attend. The event is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP here.

“When you do the kind of work I do, your mission is to help others. When you get to help others at your alma mater, it’s even sweeter! I look back on my Drake days fondly, but also think about the many, many career lessons I’ve learned since I left,” Frazier says, "I want to come back to Drake to share just a snippet of these lessons that I have used to help so many others over these years, so the next Drake graduates can continue to uphold its rich legacy, and make us all proud!”
