Please join us for an event honoring Panamanian alumni of Drake University and a celebration of the rich history and continuing engagement between Drake and Panama. This event is scheduled in tandem with the Drake University football team studying in Panama and following their exhibition game with Kiwanis Football League at Emilio Royo Stadium at 7:30 pm the day before — Friday, May 24. 

• When: Saturday, May 25 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm 

• Where: American Trade Hotel Restaurant and Bar, Plaza Herrera, Casco Viejo   

• Attire: Cocktail 

What to expect: 

The Drake football team will be in attendance, as will leadership from the University — all to honor alumni, individuals, and organizations in Panama with a strong connection to Drake University. The event will feature remarks from President Marty Martin (Drake University), President Jorge Arosemena (City of Knowledge), and distinguished Drake alums Erasmo Orillac, CEO of Grupo Motta Internacional (BN ‘76) and Felipe Motta III, Senior Vice President of Banco General (BN ‘84).   

Buffet dinner, wine, beer and soft drinks will be provided.
