Join us for the opening reception of Beautiful Land on Thursday September 5 from 5-7pm at the Anderson Gallery. The exhibition features the work of artists Ken Buhler and Kim Uchiyama. Both artists live and work in Brooklyn, NY, however each started out in Iowa and the landscape of this place is present in their work. We are pleased to present an exhibition that expands on the idea of what painting the landscape can be and celebrates the land and sky of our state. Immediately proceeding the reception Kim Uchiyama will give an informal tour of the exhibtion at 4:30 pm. The reception and tour are free and open to all and light refreshments will be served.

This exhibition is co-organized with the Wege Center for the Arts at Maharishi International University and their gallery will host an iteration of the exhibition from Nov 1 through Dec 20.
