Drake University is home to thousands of students who are passionate, motivated, and most of all, busy. Our campus culture, size, and demographic allow for student leaders to commit their time, energy, and resources in powerful ways; but what happens when we overdo it? How does “Drake busy” culture impact our wellbeing, productivity, and most of all, our ability to make a difference as student leaders?
Join us for the 2019 Sussman Leadership Conference, Down with Drake Busy, where we’ll discover how wellbeing and happiness can change your leadership, your personal life, and our campus culture.
This year's conference will feature keynote speaker Dr. Tim Bono, a nationally-renowned psychologist and faculty member at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Bono is known for his research studying wellbeing and happiness among college students, and his book, "When Likes Aren't Enough," discusses ten evidence-based strategies proven to increase student wellbeing, happiness, and effectiveness on college campuses.
Visit bit.ly/sussmanconference to learn more and reserve your seat by October 23rd.

I think it was great that they talked about the things that affect students the most.
