Join Jessi Balk, Volunteer Manager at IMPACT Community Action Partnership, for an engaging session exploring the history and mission of IMPACT, the services available to support our community, and how these resources directly impact students and staff at Drake University. This presentation will highlight the growing challenge of food insecurity among college students and provide practical strategies for faculty and staff to identify needs, share available resources (such as flyers, postcards, and signage), and navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and confidence.
