Global Partners Session: Facilitating Global Collaboration

Global Partners Sessions

Throughout the week, faculty and staff from across Drake’s campus will host virtual workshops on the following topics to showcase Drake’s experience in these areas, share best practices with our global partners, and learn from each other about opportunities for collaboration.

Description

As a globally engaged institution, Drake University continually seeks cooperation with higher education institutions, government, and non-governmental entities throughout the world. Drake currently maintains 14 active partnerships in 12 countries. It is through these partnerships that innovative and collaborative projects are developed, such as joint faculty research, student travel seminars and customized short-term programs. In this session, we will showcase Drake's model for facilitating effective collaboration with our global partners. The session will be led by Annique Kiel, Executive Director of Global Engagement and International Programs; and Hannah Sappenfield, Global Partnerships Coordinator.
