Exhibition Statement:
Kunstkammer loosely translates to “art cabinet” or “chamber of art.” Our time at Drake has introduced us to many disciplines: painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and graphic design—all of which are represented here today. With these skills, we have created five distinct bodies of work. Rather than combining our pieces or curating them to fit a specific theme, we decided to embrace our differences, creating an oddity space where they all exist in discordant harmony.
