Join us live as we stream Marissa Hernandez's artist talk on the Anderson Gallery's Facebook page and YouTube Channel.
Marissa Hernandez, a recent Drake graduate, is an artist who explores marginalized identities. She uses shape, color, and portraiture to center Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and places them in idealistic worlds. She uses murals and social media as tools for accessibility & widespread representation. Marissa is also the 2020-21 recipient of the Drake Alumni Mainframe Studio Residency.
