DUiN makes available a platform on campus for new and challenging perspectives on political, social, and campus-oriented issues of concern. We pledge to print satire in the form of intellectual articles to engage and inform the public on various topics on campus. Satire in all forms is protected by the First Amendment as a manner in which individuals can criticize government, therefore being political speech which is the most protected under the First Amendment. Along with satire DUiN publishes various opinions which are not intended to be held as truth. Any opinions contained in DUiN's stories do not reflect the views of other writers, Editors-in-Chief, or the organization as a whole.
